Mars Volta - 'Televators' review

Single release date: 1st March 2004

'Televators' is the second single from jazz-punk mentalists the Mars Volta. Having hit paydirt with the astonishing At The Drive-In album 'Relationship Of Command', scary-hairy innovators Cedric Bixler and Omar Rodriguez formed the Volta to indulge their mind-blowing, spaceage jazz/punk-rock fantasies. Their debut album 'Deloused In The Comatorium' and thrilling live shows have won them further plaudits which has resulted in one of the most way-out records in recent years becoming a huge commercial success.

'Televators' is a soft, heartfelt take on their mashed up sound and is likely to garner further praise and several more converts.
