Beenie Man - 'Dude' review
Single release date: 1st March 2004
Following his success with the Janet Jackson-featured single 'Feel It Boy' and 'Street Life', Beenie Man returns with another great single for the UK's consumption.
It's got the usual reggae lilt and hook-laden pop-duggery one would associate with the man, and sees the reggae star getting back to his roots on a superb single that just oozes rawness and laidback street sass.
The only downside to this single is that the main female line, soon becomes dull after several listens. Maybe a glass of rum would set it off?
