Eminem - Business (artwork pictured above)

As the title suggests, this is Eminem getting right back down to 'Business'.

Produced once again by Dr Dre, it's another insanely catchy, head-nodding hip-hop hoe-down, and one that finds him going back to the best his Slim Shady guise has ever given us.

An insane, twisted, tongue-in-cheek floor filler (as only Marshall Mathers knows how), it also comes, across all formats, with some fine bonus tracks and remixes.

  • Javine - Real Things

Having been controversially left out of Girls Aloud, Popstars: The Rivals finalist Javine finally gets around to letting everyone what they missed out on this week with the release of her brilliant debut single 'Real Things'.

Co-written by the girl herself with renowned producers Stargate, this is an infectious and sassy slice of hook heavy r'n'b (with a slight pop edge) that'll win this talented singer plenty of admirers from all corners of the music world. Both formats also include some great remixes.

  • Elton John - Are You Ready For Love

Elton John hooks up with Fatboy Slim's Southern Fried Records for this long-awaited re-release of Elton's lost 1977 disco gem, 'Are You Ready For Love?' Due for a full commercial release at the end of the year, it gets a very limited (5000 only) re-release on July 7th on heavy-weight pink vinyl with cool Keith Haring artwork and a slamming new remix from X-Press 2's Ashley Beedle. Phew! The original changes hands at ridiculous prices, and this 12" has all the ingredients to become a highly collectable, very sought after addition to anyone's record collection. Only thing is - you'll need to be quick!

  • Madonna - Hollywood

Lifted from her latest album, 'Hollywood' finds the newly rejuvenated Queen of Pop at her most unflinching and downright pop best. One of the standouts from the 'American Life' album, it's a scathing attack on celebrity and, yep, you guessed it, Hollywood, and shows that over the years Madge hasn't lost any of her venom. Whilst each format also comes with some stellar remixes from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, the Micronauts, Deepsky and Jacques Lu Cont.

  • Avril Lavigne - Losing Grip

Having showed us another side to her musical arsenal with her last single, the uplifting ballad 'I'm With You', Avril Lavigne returns with yet another single that continues to highlight her maturity. Retaining the feel and atmosphere of its predecessor, 'Losing Grip' is another angsty pop-tinted rock ballad that'll not only appeal to Lavigne's existing fans but also see her win quite a few new ones. It also comes with two ace live tracks and another typically striking video.

  • Pink - Feel Good Time (Charlie'S Angels Theme)

With rock attitude and looks-to-kill, it's not surprising that the inimitable Pink not only appears in the new 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle' but also performs the lead single from the film's soundtrack, 'Feel Good Time'. Co-written by Beck and William Orbit (who also produced the single), 'Feel Good Time' is an irresistible '60's tinted pop nugget that's already looking set to be a funk-a-delic summer smash. It also comes with bonus mixes.

  • Blur - Crazy Beat

Produced by Norman Cook, 'Crazy Beat' finds Blur getting back to their rough around the edges, Brit-rock best. Bringing to the fore the punky head-banging riffs that have been fairly sparse in their records since they blasted us with 'Song 2', it combines the best of both Blur and the Fatboy, and in the process creates an anthem that'll be huge at the most raucous festivals this summer. All formats also include bonus tracks with the DVD adding some cool video extras.

  • Joe Budden - Pump It Up: Enhanced

The latest artist to follow in 50 Cent and Sean Paul's rather large urban footsteps, new Def Jam signing Joe Budden is already looking like another hip-hop new comer that's gonna make a big splash in 2003. A hot beat, hot horns and hot hiccupping club banger from New Jersey's Budden (it's already huge with most jocks, and not only hip-hop ones), 'Pump It Up' is starting to look like one of the early contenders for urban crossover slammer of the summer. Oh, and it comes with a prettycool bonus cut in the shape of 'Drop Drop'.

  • Kym Marsh - Come On Over

Kym Marsh follows the success of her debut solo single 'Cry' this week with the release the new single from her forthcoming debut album, 'Standing Tall'. An up-beat pop tune riding on an irresistibly slinky groove, 'Come On Over' shows that Marsh isn't just a flash-in-the-pan pop success, and, on the evidence of bonus track 'Forever', that debut album's gonna be something very special as well. The second CD also adds some floor-friendly dance mixes.

  • Kraftwerk - Tour De France 2003

Already an absolute classic in......well, just about every corner of the dance world, Kraftwerk's seminal master-piece sees a rush re-release on July 7th in time for the centenary of this year's Tour De France cycle race. Bearing very little resemblance to the classic original, 'Tour De France 03' is still an absolutely essential piece of electronic music, and one that shows the old masters of the genre still have what it takes. Both formats include a variety of different versions.

  • Longview - Further

The song-writing valve of 23-year-old singer/guitarist Rob McVey, Longview's shimmering alt-rock stylings have already won a world of praise from all corners of the music press. And 'Further', the first single from the forthcoming album of the same name, is a glorious example of what the band is all about. A beautifully crafted gospel-tinged epic, it's also accompanied, across all three formats, by some wonderful bonus tracks that only hint at what's to come from the band in the future.

  • N Trance - Destiny

New on the in-exhaustible AATW label, 'Destiny' sees N Trance mainman Kevin O'Toole teaming up with Kelly Llorenna on another slice of irresistible, uplifting trance-pop. One for the more commercial floors this summer (and no doubt destined to be huge), the sing-a-long original also comes with some seriously dancefloor friendly remixes from Voodoo & Serano and Q-Tex. For fans of the label, this is essential!

  • Border Crossing - Original Heads 03

At a time when international boundaries and politics are very much at the forefront of peoples minds, comes the debut single from an eclectic 'family' of beat masters, mixers, producers, M.C.'s and DJs known as Border Crossing.

A collective or co-operative that are not so much '40's and Blunts' as 'Peace and Love'.

Ten or sometimes more members have been honed into shape by a trio of producers and mixers; Seorais Graham; Paul Mulvey and Alex Angol. This holy trinity have managed to defy the imaginary boundaries and lines that separate sound-systems all over London and have brought together those four points of the compass to produce an album of grooves and beats.

Border Crossing's contributors have an energy and positive vibe that speak at one hundred decibels of pure uniting r'n'b, soul, jazz, hip hop, breaks and blues.

'OriginalHeads03 featuring Rockwell is an extremely chilled slice of old school beats, from the opening "ghetto fabulous" horn to the mellow bassy tones and words of Rockwell's rhymes.

Hailing from South East London via the North of England, Usmaan combines somehow the sultry grooves of a New York City summer in the projects with West London sound stylings and an edginess that can only be from South of the river.

A great single that will certainly surprise you.
