Dannii Minogue - Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling (artwork pictured above)

Hot-on-the-heels of her massive #2 hit 'I Begin To Wonder', Dannii Minogue returns this week with another similarly infectious slice of dancefloor friendly pop in the shape of 'Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling'.

One of the highlights from her recent 'Neon Nights' album; the catchy original is remixed to the next level on this release by Al Stone (Jamiroquai, Daniel Bedingfield) whilst the mixes add a little extra spice for the dancefloor. Good stuff!

  • DJ Sammy - Sunlight

Just when he was being dismissed as a pop-trance covers machine, DJ Sammy returns with an original composition in the shape of debut album opener 'Sunlight'.

Another pop-trance anthem in waiting, the delicate Latin orchestration and rousing synths are made for summer dancefloors, whilst another superb remix package (including Driftwood and Milky) will see this crossover with all kinds of top trance jocks.

A opposite view from a Tiscali subscriber:

"After ripping off several proper pieces of music DJ Sammy has built himself a loyal following. He will need it. This "solo"/"original" outing will test their will power. It is as formulaic as they come with lots of random vocals going no where. No progression, pure euro cheese further tarnishing the trance genre name. Nil points. Bit like England really." - SFG.

  • Counting Crows - If I Could Give All My Love

Following on from the success of their Joni Mitchell cover, 'Big Yellow Taxi', the Counting Crows return this week with its equally catchy follow-up, the wonderful 'If I Could Give All My Love'.

The third single from their widely acclaimed 'Hard Candy' album, this veers more towards the band's country-rock sound, whilst at the same time never losing site of their knack of turning out a catchy song at the drop of a hat.

Both formats also include some superb bonus tracks.

  • Violent Delight - All You Ever Do

Fresh-faced punk-metallers Violent Delight follow up the Top 25 success of 'I Wish I Was A Girl' with another bouncy single in the shape of 'All You Ever Do'. An awesome combination of mosh-pit rousing power and infectious, pop-tweaked guitar action, this Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and Dave Cavari (Ill Nino) produced monster looks like it's all set to thrust this motley bunch even further onto the UK's pop-metal radar. Whilst each format also includes exclusive bonus tracks, with CD two adding the 'I Wish I Was A Girl' video.

  • The Thrills - Big Sur

The follow-up to The Thrills' Top 20 single 'One Horse Town', 'Big Sur' finds the touted Irish rockers fulfilling all their early promise (and hype), not-to-mention serving as a tantalising taster of exactly what's to come from that long-awaited debut album.

Another laidback slice of uplifting breezy rock, it also comes with some superb bonus tracks with the 7" vinyl (a must for collectors) available on coloured blue vinyl.

  • Reef - Waster

A band whose fire doesn't seem to have dulled at all over the years, Reef return this week with a brand new single that proves the West Country boys can still rock the good fight with the best of them. A typically fiery Reef rock anthem (they've still managed to retain that immediately recognisable sound), 'Waster' also comes across a superb three format release with some brilliant bonus tracks and, on the DVD format, the raucous video.

  • Amy Studt - Misfit

17-year-old Amy Studt won friends and influenced people when her debut single 'Just A Little Girl' was released almost a year ago. Since then she's been busy writing her forthcoming album (due for release later in the year) and, on the evidence of this single, fine-honing her sound into a very credible competitor to the likes of Avril Lavigne in the angst pop stakes. 'Misfit' is a feisty new single from a potentially huge UK talent, and one that shows we can definitely do this kind of thing as well as our American friends.

  • Michael Woods and Imogen Bailey - If You Want Me

Michael Woods (the artist formerly known as Warrior) returns to Incentive with a cut that's been huge on the trance scene ever since Judge Jules hammered it off CDR at the back end of summer 2002. Now spruced up for summer 2003 - with a whole batch of brilliant remixes and a vocal from Aussie model Imogen Bailey 'If You Want Me' is looking like the track that could launch this talented producer, and singer, into a whole different musical stratosphere. Whilst Warrior, Lifestylers, Antillas andNorthstarz each deliver awesome remixes.

  • Christina Aguilera - Fighter

The third single from her multi-platinum selling new album, Aguilera's latest, 'Fighter', is also a brilliant follow-up to previous hits 'Dirrty' and 'Beautiful'. Displaying yet another side to the versatile 20-year-old singer, 'Fighter' is an anthemic slab of feisty rock-tinted pop that already looks like it's gonna follow its predecessors into the higher echelons of the UK charts.

Whilst both formats also include bonus mixes with the DVD format adding a photo gallery and the striking Floria Sigismondi (Marilyn Manson, David Bowie) directed video.

  • Darius - Girl In The Moon

Having won plenty of new fans on his brilliant Dive In tour, Darius Danesh returns this week with another corking slab of pop goodness in the shape of the brilliant ballad, 'Girl In The Moon'. Showing that he does it tenderly as well as he does it upbeat, this is another brilliant side to an undoubted UK pop talent, whilst each format also comes complete with some great bonus tracks with CD two adding previously unseen interview video footage alongside a poster booklet.

  • Linkin Park - Faint

Having crash bang walloped their way back onto the UK's metal radar with 'Somewhere I Belong' (the brilliant first single from their latest album), Linkin Park return this week with 'Faint', arguably one of the band's finest singles for some time. Built around their usual mix of beats, scratching and heavy metal thrash, it also happens to find the band at their most accessible and, dare we say, catchy. A superb follow-up to 'Somewhere I Belong', it also comes, across all three formats, with brilliant bonus tracks and video extras.

  • Jennifer Lopez - I'm Glad

Seemingly in-exhaustible at the moment; J-Lo returns this week with another fine single in the shape of 'I'm Glad'.

Wearing its heart very much on its sleeve (it's about current beau Ben Affleck), this catchy urban-pop tune is exactly the kind of slick single we've come to expect from La Lopez - but then at the end of the day, that's no bad thing at all! Whilst both formats also come packed with plenty of extra bonus tracks/remixes.

  • Alfie - People

The clocks have gone forward, the skies are a little bluer and Alfie are back with a brilliant new single that's as catchy as hell. The band's first outing on Regal, 'People' finds them moving their sound in a slightly new, more upbeat direction.

And the results? Superb! A must for the fans, it's also a breath of fresh air for those that haven't already discovered the delights of these endearing indie-poppers.

Both formats also include bonus tracks.

  • Jamelia - Bout

She's been away for a while, but 'Bout' shows that Jamelia, one of the UK's premier r'n'b singers, hasn't lost any of her fire. Featuring a guest rap from Rah Digga, this is a feisty urban anthem that'll hit the best dancefloors hard, whilst it also serves as a gentle reminder of exactly how talented both female singers actually are. Top stuff, it also comes, across all three formats, with some very cool bonus cuts and remixes. Welcome back!
