Having reaped unprecedented praise for their majestic debut album 'Funeral', Arcade Fire holed themselves up in a small church outside Montreal to record the eagerly anticipated follow-up.
Entitled 'Neon Bible', the resulting collection of songs are full of both half-assed punk rock mistakes and meticulously orchestrated woodwinds.
Processed strings and mandolins, quiet rumbles and loud rumbles, 'Neon Bible' is an album of eleven songs that will not only enthral and delight enamoured listeners of 'Funeral', but will also open Arcade Fire up to a wider audience with their epic compositions.
