Embrace - This New Day

27th March 2006

Embrace return after the triumphant success of their double platinum selling "comeback" album 'Out Of Nothing' with a brand new album packed with even more hits than the last one.

Sounding bold and epic, the McNamara brothers and co. maximise on their established brand of piano and string-laden widescreen indie to grandiose proportions, with songs like 'No Use Crying' and first single 'Nature's Law' utilising uplifting melodies of sky scraping proportions.

Brimming with confidence, 'This New Day' also finds Embrace experimenting with harder sounds, like the U2-esque 'Sainted' and the shimmering riffage of 'Exploding Machines'.
