The White Boy With A Feather returns with his second, highly anticipated, album. Entitled 'The Spin' because, according to Downs: "you can spin things any which way you like. Negatively or positively. That's the pretentious side of the title."
It is an album that also, unpretentiously, is: "...fun...It's a party album".
Eleven tracks long and bursting with energy and verve, 'The Spin' once again showcases Jason's rich vocal style coming across like a cross between Chris Isaak and Nick Cave.
Album highlights include the beautiful 'Everything Is Love', the kicking 'Taste Of Action' and the New Wave-ish 'Dirty Mind' on an record that is brimming with innovation and magic.
'The Spin' is a welcome return from one of the most unique talents in modern music.
A truly exceptional album, it is a joy from start to finish.
