Plant plays tiny village show for late producer pal

Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant thrilled fans by turning up at a tiny village hall in Wales to play a surprise set.

The rocker stunned 200 locals when he took to the stage at a community venue in Monmouth, south Wales earlier this month (Jul11), where revellers paid just £3 to see him perform.

Plant joined three local musicians at the charity gig held in memory of the rocker's producer pal Pat Moran, who died in January (11).

His set included several Zeppelin numbers, as well as solo material.

Fan Darren Martin tells The Sun, "It was amazing - he's a rock god and he was playing in a village hall. It was a real honour to be there - and he chatted with the audience afterwards."
