The single 'Physical Energy/Drive', gives a brief glimpse of this Oxford/London based band.
It's a slice of wistful and angry melancholia, driven by hard pianos and unrelenting synth bass, though not without a sense of humour to boot. Its rakish, distorted vocals teamed up with glorious harmonies made people think of The Cure and Bowie after a heavy night and a punch up.
Following plays by Radio Ones Zane Lowe, who described it as one of his new tracks of the year and gaining plays from XFM & 6 Music, the band set about making a video, and guitarist Alex Morgan came up with a still frame animation that was quickly spotted and given the homepage seal of approval by both YouTube & DailyMotion.. this feature lead to it being spotted by MTV2 who duly requested a copy. The band have also recently been featured on the MySpace homepage things are moving so fast, that its hard to believe theyve only played 7 live shows...
