Vanessa Amorosi

Vanessa was signed at 14 years old, released her first single at 16 years and sold 1.6 million albums by the time she was 18 years old. Her single ‘Absolutely Everybody cemented her as a household name in Australia – it was the longest charting single for a female artist the ARIA charts, went Gold after 3 weeks and reached double platinum status. In the UK it reached #7 in the UK singles chart.
She took some time out to grow up and went from being a girl to a woman and released her single ‘This Is Who I Am’ in what has been hailed as a ‘triumphant return’ (quote from Kathy McCabe, Australian Rock journalist). This Is Who I Am went in a number #1 and has achieved Gold status in Australia. Her new album ‘Hazardous’ is her third ARIA chart top 10, debuting at #7
Now she’s coming to the UK to replicate her Australian success and set to release her albums and singles here in the coming months.
