I’ll Stand by You – The Pretenders
I’ll Stand by You is a 1994 song recorded by The Pretenders and written by Chrissie Hynde in collaboration with the songwriting team of Tom Kelly and Billy Steinberg.Since its initial release, the song has become a major hit for British girl group Girls Aloud in 2004 and Carrie Underwood in 2007, both were recorded as charity singles.
The Glee version is sung by Finn in Episode #10 ‘Ballad’.
