Jaguar revolutionalised the sports car market when it introduced the E-Type in 1961. Priced well below competitiors, the E-Type boasted 150mph performance from the 3.8-litre engine and yet the handling was composed. Sales of the E-Type were high considering it was a performance car. 70,000 E-Type's were sold over the 14 years of production.
