Lamborghini Miura
Named after a Spanish ranch whose bulls have a proverbial attack instinct, the Miura was built by the Italian sports car manufacturer between 1966 and 1972. A trendsetter, the Miura was the car that made the mid-engined chassis layout almost a standard feature of high-performance sports cars. Launched in 1966 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Miura’s sharp looks and unusual clam-shell front and rear bonnet areas were a sensation and this car continues to be sought after today.
