The petrol and diesel engines were tuned for torque rather than out and out power and the CR-V drives like a car on the road. It's a practical choice with a roomy, walk-through cabin and large boot.
The CR-V is a high-quality option but watch for air-conditioning problems and heavy tyre wear.
