The Land Glider is Nissan's idea for future city transport. The two-seater leans into turns like a motorcycle. It is powered by two rear-mounted electric motors; the lithium-ion battery is under the floor. The degree of tilt when cornering is determined by sensors that detect vehicle speed, steering angle and yaw rate. The Land Glider is some 3.1m long and just 1.1m wide which helps combat traffic congestion and makes it easier to park.
