Inside, the Astra the dashboard is attractive, all the controls are well laid-out and the instruments are clear. There's enough room for four tall passengers and the hatchback bodystyle means the Astra has a good sized boot.
Finally, the Astra's 1.4 petrol engine is responsive and reasonably economical.
