It maybe over a year since the Insignia was launched, but the cabin still impresses. The sweeping new dashboard echoes the exterior styling and is appealing. There's a Germanic feel to the tactile interior plastics, so quality appears to have improved. Other interior highlights for the VXR are the almost obligatory slightly flattened steering wheel and chrome-effect trim, centre console, door pulls and the special VXR gearknob.
