There's no finesse to the Pixo's performance and handling either. You have to work the 67bhp, three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine hard to perform. In auto form Nissan claim a 0-60mph acceleration time of 17 seconds and having lived with the car I have no reason to doubt this! Still, the Pixo averages an incredible 64.2mpg, emits just 103g/km of CO2 and wears its Pure Drive badge with pride.
