The term 'Crossover' was penned by Nissan back in 2006 for its Qashqai, a car which the British buying public have taken to their hearts and has scored consistently highly in monthly sales figures. Now Peugeot wants its cut of the market with the 3008. Okay, so it's basically a 308 on stilts - but thats not the point, as the Qashqai has proved there is a market for a more adventurous rival for conventional hatchbacks.
