8. Seat Ibiza Ecomotive
What we think: The Ibiza Ecomotive is sharp looking, comfortable and good to drive. Other plus points are that because it's such a low polluter, car tax is effectively free and we regularly saw 60mpg even when driven normally. The only downsides are the cheap feel to the cabin plastics, the noisy, peaky engine and the fact that you have to re-learn your driving style to get the best out of it.
