Sir Paul McCartney and his then wife, Heather Mills, hired the same lawyers who represented Prince Charles and Princess Diana when they divorced 10 years previously.
The couple announced their separation in May 2006 after four years of marriage.
Heather ended up receiving a £24.3million pay out from Sir Paul.
