Step-by-step guide to natural lips

Step 1
To create a plump, fresh lip you must first prepare the lip area. Apply lip balm to moisturise the lips and to give a good base for applying the lipstick. Moisturised lips will look plumper and richer.

Step 2
Find a lipstick which has something to do with your natural lip colour. If you have a hint of brown or pink in your lips try to match that, perhaps going one or two shades darker than your natural lip.

Step 3
Apply with a lip brush to give a smoother finish. Fill in all of the lip. Use a lip pencil after you've applied the lipstick which will make the lip appear much more natural.

Step 4
Create a perfect line by using a lip liner in the same colour as the lipstick.

Tips
- If you have thin lips apply the lip liner right onto the outside edge of the natural line of the lip.
- If you want to make your lips appear smaller apply the lip liner to the inside edge of the lips.
