Covent Garden Dental Spa

Tucked away in the heart of Covent Garden is a new class of dental surgery. The Covent Garden Dental Spa offers the perfect respite from stereotypical smelly, cold and noisy (cue drill) dental surgeries. After visiting Dr. Flora Chigwedere’s practice adorned with warm cocoa walls, leather sofas and crystal lighting your perception of dentistry will change.

And… it’s affordable! Just because it’s pleasant and the dentist is lovely doesn’t mean you have to pay through the nose for the service. At a very reasonable £18 per month on the yearly dental plan, you get your two dental checks and hygienist appointments per year included as well as free tooth whitening (subject to terms & conditions).

Why visit?

  • Your senses will be soothed with aromatherapy fragrances rather than whiffs of clinical solutions and you’ll be welcomed with herbal tea in stylish boutique surroundings rather than a cold, stark, white patients’ waiting room.

  • Flora is considerate of your feelings as a patient and has a gentle and caring approach. She’ll listen to your needs and concerns no matter how trivial you may think they sound.

  • You won’t be left in the dark on your visit. Unlike many dental practitioners, Flora will explain in detail what she is doing and checking for. She’ll also use a camera in your mouth that displays on a computer screen so you can see for yourself any areas that you need to pay extra attention to.

  • If you’re a nervous patient, you can book an appointment with the resident hypnotherapist before having any treatment.

  • Plus, you’ll get to use the best adjustable massage chair I’ve ever sat in which pummels your back and applies pressure to your legs and feet before your dental appointment.

You never know, after an appointment here you may even look forward to your next visit.

Latest dental spa update

Covent Garden Dental Spa has introduced acupuncture as another holistic approach to dentistry, which can help patients overcome their dental fears. This follows a recent report in the journal Acupuncture in Medicine, which found it can really make a difference for ‘dental phobes’.
