Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made Burning Shore Lodge famous when they hired the hotel exclusively for eight weeks for the birth of their daughter Shiloh. The Burning Shore has a fantastic setting overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and large sand dunes lie along the shoreline. The hotel is located just outside of Swakopmund in Long Beach. It offers seven luxury rooms and five luxury suites, all enjoying private bathroom facilities. It has a fine dining restaurant with a deck for alfresco dining and direct access to the beach, cocktail bar, Jacuzzi and dune buggies. Activities include quad biking, fishing, eco tours, dolphin cruises, seal colony visits, skydiving, dune surfing and camel rides. Rooms from £30 per person sharing a double, per night.
