Recipe
Ingredients100 g puy lentils
300 g water
Pinch of cumin (if you don't like cumin add a bayleaf)
2 slices bacon
Grated parmesan cheese
Dollop of créme fraiche
Wash the lentils and put in a pan with the water and cumin.
Leave to simmer for roughly 30 mins until the lentils are cooked.
Whilst this is happening cut the bacon into thinish strips and fry until they are crispy.
Using a blender puree the mixture and return it to the pan add a generous grating of parmesan and warm over a gentle heat.
To serve pour into 2 bowls add a dollop of créme fraicheand sprinkle over the bacon.
