With many city dwellers committed to green living, yet shunning gardening because of the perceived effort and difficulty involved, the week aims to help people easily improve their personal environment, while reducing their carbon footprints at the same time.
For the second year running, leading woodcare manufacturer Ronseal, is holding “Urban Gardens Week”, taking place between 22nd and 28th March 2010.
The week aims to help people make the most out of their outdoor spaces and to show that regardless of size you can make a positive environmental impact - through lots of small changes such as building compost recycling areas, or incorporating clever design features.
Now, celebrity gardener, Charlie Dimmock, who is working with Ronseal to promote the week, is giving TalkTalk readers a series of top tips on how to make the most of your urban space, and maximize its eco potential.
