I have small room with all-beige walls and beige sofa with a terracotta pattern on. How can I add colour and what shades should I go for?

I think the best colour to go with terracotta and beige is probably soft sage green - not sure if you wanted to change the wall colour but if not you could get some cushions, vases or imitation plants - lots of high street retailers are doing these quite well now - look at BHS or John Lewis for inspiration.
