Lips, the popular singing party game for Xbox 360 is adding 15 more tunes to the already booming library of Game Add-on songs available via Xbox Live Marketplace and the in-game Get Music store.
A special treat for 80s aficionados everywhere, the smooth sounds of New Edition will be available on 15th May in a song pack including, "Mr. Telephone Man," "If It Isn't Love" and "Cool It Now" for 440 Microsoft points. With a line-up like that we're surprised you're not already reaching for your wireless microphone.
Meanwhile, in what some are considering a stroke of marketing genius whilst others are scratching their heads looking a bit puzzled, Activision the company behind the latest X-Men Origins: Wolverine game has been hard at work. To celebrate the launch of the new Wolverine game the publisher has sponsored the wolverine enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo for one year. In addition, the lead male wolverine has voluntarily changed his name to Logan in respect of the legendary Marvel character.
The sponsorship will help to ensure that Edinburgh Zoo, who has the only wolverines in the UK, can continue its breeding programme throughout 2009 and 2010. "It's fantastic that X-Men Origins: Wolverine is sponsoring our very own wolverines here at Edinburgh Zoo. As a charity we rely on our fundraising to further our work and sponsorship is an excellent way for us raise essential funds, not just for the day to day care of our animals, but for our conservation projects across the globe," said Cristina Pouso, Corporate Development Manager at Edinburgh Zoo.
