It seems that for around half a cubic metre I need to order a ton. Thanks Eric and August.

I'm going to have throw a load of gravel over my awful 'patio' later this year to disguise the thing.

The question I'm faced with is 'How much is needed?' I'm going to buy a few small bags of the stuff and fill a half-metre square wooden frame to the depth I need and then weigh the contents on my bathroom scales. If one small bag fills it to the desired depth I won't need to, of course.

It's the multiplication sum that I'm then going to have to do that's worrying me. I have the awful feeling that I'm going to order four times as much as I need.

Best regards,
Ron.

Not a very big patio, then ? Around the size of a single bed, maybe Can you not just use the site suggested by August?

Is it a peculiar shape? Lots of 'length x width x depth's?
