'When the Lights West Out!' is a play which
brings to life one of the most
turbulent periods in our country's history.

Based on extensive research in Gloucestershire
the play draws on the vivid memories and
wonderful stories of those who were there
during the dark days of World War Two.

Come and join us as we bring the home front alive
through story, song, live music and
some truly unforgettable and remarkable characters!

He's a very good actor and musician and it would be great if I could rustle up some extra support for the show.

Well, I went along on Tuesday night and it was brilliant. The show followed the life of a family from the outbreak of the war. 4 actors (2 male, 2 female) played several roles. Sam was the boyfriend, the father, a Canadian boyfriend and a female factory worker! It incorporated singing (Sam has a fabulous voice, as did they all), dancing and music - viola (Sam) and clarinets etc.

It was educational for the kids and entertaining (and thought-provoking) for everyone.
