Hi for years I had been using a old lineone email address to recieve emails using the outlook express mail service.
well, when I brought the pc I am now using last Year, I have been unable to access my old lineone email account via outlook express.
for some reason it just won't allow to access it?
but I know that that particular email address is still live because yesterday I had a email sent to it.
but I cannot access it while outlook express wont allow me to recieve emails.
according to a website I looked at tonight, it says that one needs to type in the name and password that is provided by ones isp before one can access any email accounts via outlook express.
well I typed in my literal name and a password I am sure I used when I used to be able to access my lineone email account via outlook express, but it won't work.
can you please help me?
this is causing me no end of frustration.
are you able to tell me the name and password you provided me if any?
or would I have to contact lineone if it still exists in order to find out the name and password they provided me?
this is all very confusing because I have never had this problem accessing my lineone email account via outlook express before.
I hope you can help me because it has been a long time since I accessed my lineone email address and I'm sure there are lots of unread emails there waiting for me to read and respond to.
I hope to hear from someone asap.
thanks.
also one more thing...I have noticed recently that whenever I upload a video using youtube, the picture always freezes for some unknown reason?
and I have also noticed that the page loading time at times is very slow...like earlier today a certain page took ages to load...is this a fault with the isp or something else?
I'm not really happy with the internet service I am recieving in return for the ammount of money I am paying every year.
even if I pay one pence per year, I expect value for my money in return...and I don't think I am getting that.
It has been quite a while since I last had reason to post on here and it would not surprise me if the forum is full of complaints as usual from frustrated discontented customers.
regards
salepc.
ps I was correct, the forum is full as normal of unsatisfied frustrated customers.
I read one customers complaint and she expressed anxiety about being charged £25 from next month for her internet access.
will that be the case for all talk talk customers?
if So I will be closing my account and switching to someone else...honestly you isp's make me want to scream...the way you all seek to extract as much money from your customers in return for what is often a very poor internet service.
and I know from bitter experience that talk talk is not known for being the best isp around.

Hi, as a new customer of TT, I thought that everything would go well in changing over on my go live date!

Well I was wrong and very very disappointed.

My go live date was 14th May and well the telephone service happened no problem and then thats where it all fell apart.

In my welcome pack, I was told I'd get a phone call/text when my services went live - I didn't get either.

A few days before my go live date I'd receive my router - I didnt get it and in fact STILL waiting.

So I telephone customer service and it must have been in some foreign country, they told me my router was only dispatched yesterday on my go live date and gave me a track and trace number and well my router has now been sitting in princess royal distribution centre for almost 24 hours now, when i was told i'd receive it today, how nice of TT NOT to contact me to tell me there was a delay on my router.

Overall, my experience of TT is pathetic to say the least and shall I recommend TT to my friends, nope I don;t think so.

I also phoned customer service today and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that one wasnt available and I asked for a call back and yeah i'll get a call back in 24 - 48 hours time!!!

SOrry TT but I would like an answer either straight away or within an hour!

ALL I WANT IS MY ROUTER AND BETTER SERVICE THATS ALL!!!
