Last year's number 9 is this year's World Number One.

Dinara Safina is a 23-year-old Russian who's brother is the former World Number One: Marat Safin.

She won the US Open in 2007 and reached the Finals of the French Open in both 2008 and 2009.

Dinara has yet to make it beyond the Third Round at Wimbledon so she will be looking to better that this year.
