Gino D'Acampo's fine palate was pushed to the limits after being forced to tackle a stomach-churning menu of rotten egg, cockroaches and a crocodile's tongue ahead of the I'm A Celebrity final.
The Italian chef was forced to eat the foul fare plus rhino beetles, a witchetty grub and meal worms to win a slap-up main course for his fellow campers.
But Gino passed the gut-churning challenge with flying colours.
He said: "That was disgusting, you people are crazy. The worst was the egg."
Kim Woodburn had earlier faced the John T-ravolting trial, when she was made to stand in a Perspex body-shaped tank and face green ants, cockroaches, spiders and yabbies attacking various parts of her body.
She said of the ants: "They are sharp, it's like small knives going in," then admitted she was "terrified" of spiders as they were poured over her head.

But she stayed the course and won starters for camp, and even managed to flirt with show host Declan Donnelly, saying to him: "Come on darling, you little honey, I think you are very attractive! I'll be in the caravan later - prepared!"
"That's the best offer I've had here," Dec replied.
There was a further bug-infested trial for snooker ace Jimmy White, who was clamped in leg irons and handcuffs and locked in a flooded chamber.
With water spiders and other creepy-crawlies sent to keep him company, Jimmy kept his cool and found the keys to unlock himself and won three desserts for the final meal in camp.
With a final feast to look forward to, the three remaining campmates were asked to nominate and present their own Jungle Awards ceremony. Interior designer Justin Ryan scooped Biggest Drama Queen; Katie Price tied with Samantha Fox and Kim for the Best Breasts award, while Sabrina Washington bagged the Laziest Campmate accolade.
