It’s all over. Ulrika won. It’s probably the biggest shock victory ever on CBB. Many of you have cried ‘fix’. But many of you have also wished her well and claimed that you wanted her to win.
There is no evidence that it is a fix. Just because people booed during the interview does not make it so. The fact is, we may have all underestimated how popular she is with the British public.
Thanks to everyone who blogged along with us over the last three weeks: Chris S, Fran and Vixx to name but three of you. We’ve really enjoyed it – and see you all next time!

That is incredible!
You could have won a lot of money betting on Ulrika early in the week, it seemed so unlikely that she would win. Lots of you are crying ‘fix’.
We should pay tribute to Terry though – definitely the best laugh in the house.
So why did Ulrika take the crown? Well – there are probably a few reasons:
- She’s genuinely liked by the British public. She’s had a hard time in her private life, but has been a popular presenter for 15 or more years.
- She didn’t take any crap in the house and called a spade a spade. People like that honesty.
- Once she relaxed in the final week, she turned out to be quite a good laugh.

Third place for the guy from Compton!

That is a shock – a HUGE shock!!!!!!!!
Verne was the bookies’ favourite by some way, but left the house in fourth place. Maybe his fans just got a little complacent.
He proved himself to be a lovely guy, good fun and not afraid to let himself go – unlike many of the fellow housemates. A real winner.
8:50 pm
And he was just starting to come out of himself as well. Ben will be remembered for his scarf, the BenChelle incident and for being a nice guy all round. But he was a bit wet.
And he really seemed to like snogging that old lady a bit too much!
8:39 am
It’s the last day of CBB and one of the five remaining housemates will take the title. The bookies say it will be Verne. But Terry’s always been consistently popular (apart from when he was shown criticising the ‘type of person’ who watches or votes). Ulrika has calmed down in last few days and has come across as more of a laugh. Coolio went from early hero to nearly zero after the alleged bullying scandal. And as for Ben? Well, Ben wore a scarf throughout.
What have your highlights been? And your lowlights?
Will the programme return or is it now jaded as a format?
And who do you think will win?
10:29 pm
Tommy is out, less of a surprise there. The big shock is that he outstayed La Toya.
Tommy was Mr Right On, a professional Scot to Tina’s pro Scouser.
He never seemed to really relax and have fun – apart from that one weird night early on whe he was dancing with Michelle. He kind of bonded with people, but at the same time didn’t really bond with anyone.
A classic politician in other words!
10:07 pm
A big shock there!
She came in seeming so innocent but maybe in the end she was too much of a dark horse: she didn’t really bond that well with anyone apart from Coolio, but maybe she told one too many tales of what she thought.
Still, her exit at this point is the first big shock of the series.

Two contestatns are due to leave tonight.
Remember that it’s a slight change from the norm: we are voting on who we want to win and the two housemates with the least number of votes will depart. According to the figures on the Tiscali voting system, the housemates getting least active support are currently Tommy, La Toya and Ben. We’ll keep an eye on it during the day to see how it develops.
Who do you think should go tonight – and who deserves to make the final on Friday (and why?).
11:16 pm
Good question Verne.
Four women down, no men.
Ulrika thinks the men have formed a clique. Yet she appeared to be part of the main clique only last week with Tina, Michelle and Mutya.
So why have the first four to leave all been women? And will Ulrika and La Toya manage to find any common ground? Have they actually ever spoken to each other?
