Big Brother 10 - Sophie

Evicted: Sophie

After 93 long days with 22 wacky housemates, there could only be one winner - and it's glamour model Sophie who has taken the crown.

Sophie finished first with a staggering 74.4 per cent of the final vote, beating runner-up Siavash as well as fellow finalists David, Charlie and Rodrigo.

It's been an amazing, fun-filled 14 weeks for the blonde, who has devoted herself wholeheartedly into everything thrown at her - from dressing-up tasks to a whirlwind romance.

On Day One, Sophie strutted her way into the house in a skin-tight yellow dress, proving to the crowds she had what it takes to be the house dolly bird.

Coming in third after Freddie and Lisa, the bubbly blonde seemed bored with her new roommates - until hunky Kris arrived.
She soon warmed the hearts of not only Kris, but several of her fellow housemates, forming a close bond with fellow blonde Karly, lesbian Lisa and Charlie.

Eager to prove she was “up for a laugh”, as she had pointed out in her audition tape, Sophie agreed to change her name by deed pole to Dogface, along with Freddie, who took on the legal moniker of Halfwit.

The pair were the eighth and ninth contestants to become official HMs, and Sophie could finally concentrate on her first real task – flirting with mop-topped pretty boy Kris.

But just as the blossoming romance started to flower, cocky gangsta-wannabe Cairon had other ideas, and started to come on to the 20 year old after days of ogling her enhanced goods.

However, the blonde proved she wasn’t a damsel in distress, and put the overheated rapper in his place.

Cairon panted, "I think you look really good and you have a nice personality," he continued. "So what's up with you and me? Are we gonna hook up?"

An unimpressed Sophie replied: "Try next week. Or never."

Setting her attentions back to Kris, she showed just how comfortable she had become with her new beau – by continually farting in his presence!

When BB quizzed the pair over their relationship, warning the couple that “fake romances will not be tolerated,” Kris declared that they were past the “trumping stage,” saying, "I said usually it takes around three months but in here it's been three weeks. I said 'Sophie trumps all the time.'"

But although the glamour model’s romantic life in the house was boding well, her ability to successfully navigate tasks proved a real sticking point – after she and Sree sensationally failed their ice cream challenge in the Italian task.

Bumbling Sree couldn’t understand BB demands for ice creams, and continuously mixed up the order – prompting Sophie to snap.

She ranted, “If we get anything wrong it's an automatic fail. You should have shouted it out as they told you!"

However, things soon sweetened up after Sophie and Karly visited the Diary Room to be told HMs would only incur one fail if they ate the ice cream provided – leading to a food frenzy as starving housemates stuffed their faces full of tasty treats!

And things didn’t get on any better when Sophie was chosen to play the role of the glamorous assistant to Freddie’s ‘knife-thrower’ in the Circus task.

While practising for the challenge, Sophie was left fuming with Halfwit’s inability to throw water-balloons at the targets while she was standing in the middle, ranting to BB, “That boy can’t throw! I need padding because if he hits my boobies one more time they will pop!”

A concerned BB took Sophie’s plea in to hand – and provided her with padding to stop her enhanced breasts from incurring any damage from hapless Halfwit’s dodgy throws.

However, when the time came to do the task for real, Sophie was left seeing red – literally – after Halfwit smashed a paint-filled balloon straight into her face!

It wasn’t the only time Sophie had been left infuriated by Halfwit, often taking to the smoking area with her crew to attack the posh toff behind his back. Things got so bad in week three, Sophie was forced to hide in the Diary Room and rant about the Oxford graduate in private, telling BB, “I have never met anyone like him in my life, he is the most annoying person I have ever come across, ever!”

But Sophie’s rants about Halfwit only landed her in trouble, after she was caught discussing nominations with Kris and Charlie.

The trio were ordered to keep schtum – Charlie for 12 hours, Kris and Sophie for four – but the troublesome lot couldn’t even manage that.

Just after Charlie was told he would face the public vote for speaking during his ordered silence, Kris and Sophie were dragged into the Diary Room and told they would also be put up for the public vote after it was noted that Sophie, once again, broke wind and therefore broke the rules of keeping quiet.

Although the loved-up pair laughed about their predicament, Sophie admitted she was “s**tting herself” about the prospect of getting booted out and facing a jeering crowd, insisting to Karly that “girls always go first”.

But Sophie was wrong - it was lover boy Kris who was kicked out, leaving her devastated.

Her misery was confounded on Sunday, when BB announced that she would be facing the public vote again this week, alongside Siavash, for failing a challenge not to swear.

Gal pal Karly and Noirin joined the pair for eviction, after receiving the most nominations from their fellow HM's - and so began the race to win popularity.

Sophie's singing in the 10th anniversary task had the nation covering their ears - and the group failed their bid for a luxury budget, leaving them with just basic rations for the next seven days.

And her week got worse when Big Brother brought in hunky Tom, who she was convinced had been drafted in as a replacement for her missing Mancunian lover.

To add insult to injury, Sophie had to put up with Karly's boyfriend Kenneth sleazily hitting on her - but it was the jet-setting playboy she had to thank for saving her from getting the axe.

Sophie had been up for nomination but was thrown a last-minute lifeline after Kenneth walked out of the house, prompting Big Brother to cancel the eviction.

However, the blonde was devastated not to have been evicted - and threatened to leave of her accord.

The other HMs soon talked her around and she decided to stay. Sophie told them, "I just thought, 'Eventually I'm going to be out so I'll enjoy my time here'. In a way, I don't want to go out. I don't want to face everything."

But her time in the house was in jeopardy again this week when she was put up for the chop along with everyone else by Big Brother, after Siavash and Marcus broke the rules.

Sophie dedicated herself to the Alice In Wonderland-themed task, tasting tea in her role as the Mad Hatter - but burnt her nose on the hot teapot!

The group passed with flying colours, meaning they will have a luxury food budget next week - and Hira was given the chop, meaning Sophie lived to see another BB day.

However, the ditzy blonde was gutted not to have gone and be reunited with her loved ones - and begged her fellow HMs to put her up for eviction so she could see what the public really thought of her.

But the thought of home didn't stop Sophie enjoying the Best Of British task, in which she teamed up with Rodrigo and Charlie for an etiquette challenge.

She and the camp Geordie had to convince Rodrigo he was really meeting Her Majesty The Queen to receive £80 towards the shopping budget - and the poor Brazilian fell for it hook, line and sinker.

The fun tasks kept coming - the gang had to contend with the House of Horrors challenge.

Sophie eagerly volunteered to be a blood-sucking vampire along with her best buddy Rodrigo - unaware they would have to hang upside down by their legs in the garden for seven minutes.

But the fun of the task was soon blighted by a pesky BB, who allowed the group to see select press cuttings about their time in the house.

Sophie was horrified to read speculation in a gossip magazine that she was carrying Kris' baby, crying,  "This is not f**king funny! Let me have a look!"

She discovered her beau had refused to confirm or deny if they'd shared a secret romp under the covers, telling one mag, "A gentleman never tells!"

A furious Sophie snapped, "I've washed my hands of him. I'm not speaking to him! Seriously! I'm not speaking to him again. People think I'm a big fat pregnant woman and girls will think I'm a ****!"

She took her promises further by  before telling everyone to punch her if she reunited with Kris.

And she was left with a further bad taste in her mouth during the toothbrush torture mini task. BB asked her to brush her teeth with catfish - but poor Sophie was too squeamish to scrub her  with it for 60 seconds.

Everyone else managed to pass the yukky task - but Soph was given a second chance to win a prize by BB. She had to correctly identify seven countries on a world map in a bid to win music for the house.

She got two right - which isn't bad for a girl who failed all her GCSEs at school!

With former foe Marcus given the boot just two weeks before the final, the busty model threw herself into the futuristic task - becoming a robot with the Brazilian again.

The pair were given black leotards covered in metallic hardware with lyrics printed on them and had to learn the YouTube dance phenomenon Daft Bodies, in which two women perform to Daft Punk's hit Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by flashing song lyrics scrawled on their body in time to the song.

But the fun times came to a head when Siavash refused to nominate - thereby placing his vote for Charlie and Sophie because of a evil twist by BB.

This sparked a huge row in the house - Rogrigo refused to talk to the kooky stylist, while Charlie blasted him for cheating on his girlfriend with Noirin.

But good-natured Sophie was the only person to stick up for him, admitting she simply "felt sorry" for the rebel.

Siavash's refusal to nominate proved fruitless though, as him and Marcus went up, with the Wolverine wannabe losing his fight for survival.

Marcus was kicked out, just a week before the finale, and Lisa soon followed him, being given the boot on Tuesday, leaving Sophie, Rodrigo, Charlie, David and Siavash left to fight it out for the grand prize.

Sophie made the most of her last days in the house, and at the group's last supper, she toasted her pals: "I'd just like to say that if I had to pick anyone to be in the final with, I'd pick you four. All of you have been my favourite housemates. Charlie, you're really nice. Siavash you're such a lovely guy and people will love you on the outside. Rodrigo, your laugh and everything - you're like my best friend, and you'll be my best friend on the outside. David, I think you're so, so funny.

"My speech isn't making any sense! But I'm so glad I'm in the final and thank you everyone for being so nice to me."

The following night, the beauty was the last to leave the house, emerging to fireworks and confetti as her fans, family and former housemates cheered wildly.

Wiping away tears of joy, she refused to tell Davina if she'll allow Kris to win back her heart, but something tells us Sophie will be just fine, boyfriend or not!
