The Kennington Oval is traditionally the venue for the final Test of the summer, and has therefore seen some dramatic finishes in its time.
From the 1968 Ashes Test when supporters pitched in to mop a sodden ground in time for Derek Underwood to bowl the Australians out to square the series, to Kevin Pietersen's match-saving - and series-winning - 158 in 2005 against the same opposition.
A spectacular new stand to complement the huge pavillion has made the ground a more pleasant viewing experience.
Perhaps due to the number of series finales held there, The Oval is usually good for a result but also has a reputation as serving up excellent batting tracks, so expect plenty of runs. And, maybe, just maybe a finish to match four years ago...
