This is Ford’s real-world answer to the green agenda, but the pitch is more for private finances than public concerns of eco-doom: this version of the next Fiesta emits just 98g/km of CO2, so you qualify for ZERO road tax. And with crafty energy-saving tyres and more slipstream design than a well-sucked sweet, this Fiesta ekes out 88.3mpg as a best figure, with 76.3mpg overall.Is it really green? It’s still got 1.6-litre diesel engine, so not entirely.
