Jo gets kicked off CBB

Jo O'Meara tonight became the fourth housemate to get evicted from Celebrity Big Brother as viewers punished her for siding against Shilpa.

Despite making friends in the house, Jo's curt remarks didn't impress the public who decided they'd seen enough of the blonde former S Clubber.

She looked shocked when Davina announced her name and was comforted by her housemates, before leaving the house alongside fifth evictee Cleo Rocos, to a mix of boos and cheers.

Davina started by revealing the chat would "not be a normal interview".

After Jo was shown clips of the racism controversy in the outside world, she looked shocked, gasping: "Oh my God."

Speaking about the alleged racism and bullying, the blonde said: "It does look very bad.

"It looks awful but it didn't feel terrible in there - I'm not racist all. My cousin is married to an Indian man."

Unlike Jade, Jo didn't admit to bullying or apologise for her behaviour.

She added: "I'm not going to deny that Shilpa didn't aggravate me a lot. I didn't dislike Shilpa - but I wasn't as close her as I was to say Danielle or Cleo."

The singer was the fourth person to enter the house, admitting she was "terrified".

When Jade and her family moved in, Jo worried that Jade would nominate her for eviction, thinking the reality TV star hated her because she had "blanked" her in night clubs.

But as the days wore on, the pair became firm allies along with Danielle, who picked on Shilpa and refused to eat her cooking, slating it as "dodgy".

Jo and Danielle upset Jermaine, and viewers, when they laughed during Jade's infamous Oxo cube rant with Shilpa, which Jo callously said "made her feel better".

On her first night in the house, she was one of the last housemates to choose a bed and realised with horror she would have to share a double bed with rocker Donny.

"I can't sleep with a guy like that," she moaned.

Luckily, Leo stepped in and offered to take her place.

During the manor task, Jo was appointed kitchen hand, but failed because director Ken made his own snack.

Her new pal Jade leapt to her defence, claiming that all the housemates had been in the Diary Room when naughty Ken got some cheese.

The task got the better of Jo and she cried for the first of many times to house mum Cleo, saying: "I'm so tired. They won. They broke me in."

During one of her many girly chats in Nowhere, Ian stirred things up when he asked lesbian Jackiey if she fancied Jo.

"Yeah I'd like a bit of the Jo," replied Jade's mum.

The 27-year-old Essex girl spent most of her time moping around the house in her pale blue dressing gown and smoking endless cigarettes.

She also enjoyed baiting Dirk 'The Face' Benedict, who she said had an "attitude problem" and was "miserable old b*****d".

But it was Jo who seemed to have more of an attitude problem, as she moaned about the ice cube task ("I'm too small") and despite making BB laugh in the comedy task she complained it made her feel ill.

Despite huge success with S Club 7, Jo's brief solo career flopped in 2005 and she turned her hand to breeding dogs.

Now she's out of the house, will Jo stay in the doghouse?
