Drama in the house - everyone's favourite surrogate mother (well, for the duration of their time in Big Brother anyway) came to blows with everyone's favourite boy-band hunk (previous bracketed sentiments also apply).

Ziggy and Carole took time out to discuss their faltering of late friendship.

The pair's relationship has come under pressure over the household heart-throb's pairing with Posh Spice wannabe Chanelle - and Ziggy knows his romance with the 19-year-old is taking its toll on his and Carole's pally ways.

Ziggy approached Carole in the kitchen, politely asking to have a quiet word with her.

The pair shuffled off to the bathroom, where they let it all out, as it were, about their currently turbulent relationship.

Carole had been cross with Ziggy over the past few days, and Ziggy was on a mission to find out why...and it wasn't quite the reasons the blonde bombshell had expected.

Carole confided she was in a mood because she felt she was been taken advantage of by her fellow housemates and being walked over, and in a bit of a wires crossed situation, she thought the Zigster was taking a dim view of an argument earlier in the week she'd had with the er, love of his life.

But Ziggy was quick to reassure Carole, and the pair were reunited with a hug and a tear - with Zig insisting the housemates really appreciated her efforts.

"You're like my mum, I've not said one bad word about you," explained Ziggy.
