Jonathan leaves
Jonathan has left the Big Brother house after an emotional farewell to his fellow housemates.
The 49-year-old media man was allowed to leave the Hertfordshire house last night after being told his grandmother had passed away.
A Big Brother spokesman said: "In the early hours of this morning, Jonathan left the Big Brother House for personal reasons."
The self-made millionaire said "bye everyone, thanks for everything," before he walked into the diary room.
Gerry, who was the most saddened by Jonathan's departure, suggested he "might come back," but the other housemates all disagreed with him.
Jonathan had already spoken about wanting to leave the house so he could marry his fiancee.
He also revealed that he had "risked" a number of things to join the house, adding "I've been so reckless to do this".
However, after a nights sleep he changed his mind.
"It's funny how you wake up and everything's different.
It's a sunny day and everyone's been so nice," he said.
