Imagine The Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, Ramones and Guns N' Roses playing in the same room together and you come close to what Towers Of London sound like. The Liverpool quintet dusted off the cobwebs of '70s glam rock with their debut single, On A Noose in 2005. Led by Walton's Tourette brothers (Donny on vocals and Dirk on guitar) the band were picked up by uber producer Rick Rubin and flown out to LA to record their debut album, Blood, Sweat And Towers, released in June. So what can we expect from the band's Reading appearance? "There's not that much to think about with our music," explains singer Donny.. "It's not meant to be comedy, it's not meant to be intellectual. Our music's meant as a release." Big, dumb fun then. You'd be crazy to miss it...
