LITTLE MAN TATE

With their dry, Yorkshire wit and sense of swaggering joie de vivre, Sheffield band Little Man Tate are the perfect post-Arctic Monkeys band - A mixture of post-punk, angular guitar funk and gritty, realist lyrics. Formed just over a year ago, vocalist Jon Windle, guitarist Maz, bassist Ben Surtees and drummer Dan Fields are four lifelong friends who spent their teens playing football, drinking, chasing girls and poring over their Pulp, Roses and Pistols records. Recent single What? What You Got hit the UK Top 40 and with a debut album imminent there seems to be no stopping the Sheffield scenesters.
