We've recently received a number of phishing emails from Tiscali customers that offer various types of loans. While some of these are just spam emails, the majority take you to a phishing website that will ask you to enter personal details.

Looking at the example shown below, the first thing we noticed was that the website wasn't secure, showing http and not https (secure). Entering your details into an unsecure site opens you up to data theft.
The request for your next payday details gives the phishers the chance to find out what day you'll be paid on. This allows them to target your bank account on the day when your wages are paid in.
By handing over your bank account number and sort code, they can now apply for loans in your name and have everything they need to impersonate you and steal your identity.
