I am worried about my mother

Should I contact him?

Here's the story, my boyfriend and I broke up last weekend as I thought that he didn't want to be with me as he didn't want to go out or do anything with me. It was a moment of madness on my behalf to tell him I wanted to break up!

But when we talked during the week we realized that there was a few things we hadn't told each other about our relationship. So instead of splitting up totally we decided to go on a "break" for a few weeks instead. He was saying that he had no time for himself, his job involves a huge volume of driving, then he also has his 9 yo son to visit, he also comes up and stays over on Friday nites so he has to collect him and drop him home. As well as that I live over an hour's drive from him!!!

I'm trying so so hard to give him the break and space that my boyfriend (I still consider him that) wants but I'm finding it more and more difficult as the days go on. I find myself just looking at the fone, wanting it to ring and be him... I want to text/ring him just to see how he is doing and how he is feeling, how his day went etc etc.

I'm afraid by not contacting him he thinks I don't care about him and if I do will it look like I'm desperate and begging him to take me back ? What's the best thing to do here? I'm going out of mind here.....I really really don't want to lose him, he's the best thing thats in my life.
